Governor Cuomo was clearly upset at his press conference on Saturday about anti-lockdown protesters gathering without masks to protest his stay at home order

You don’t have a right to jeopardize my health. You want to jeopardize your health, God bless you. You don’t have the right to jeopardize my health. The mask is not about your health. The mask is about my health, and my children’s health,”

New York state has been under a stay at home order since March 20. The order has been extended to May 15, but Cuomo has warned that certain parts of the state could remain under lockdown for much longer. Cuomo has also mandated that everyone in New York must wear a mask when they are out in public.
Hundreds of people have gathered in New York over the past week to protest the stay at home order in frustration of businesses having to remain closed
Since the middle of March more than 1.1. million New Yorkers have applied for unemployment. Due to the influx of new claims the state’s labor department has been struggling to keep up which has resulted in delays in processing new claims.
Business owners need to get back to work so that they can provide for themselves and their families and also get their employees back to work so they can do the same.
