Two Off Duty Police Officers Take Down Gunman in Omaha Grocery Store

A gunman opened fire in Omaha Nebraska on Tuesday night in a Hy-Vee Grocery store and was taken down by two off duty police officers.

Around 6:30 pm on Tuesday night in a Hy-Vee grocery store a suspect opened fire near the pharmacy area of the store.

Fortunately two off duty police officers were nearby and were able to take down the suspect and arrest him.

During the arrest the suspect sustained injuries but no information has been released about the extent of the injuries that occurred.

No one else was injured during the incident.

At this time there is no information being released about the motive for the shooting.
