Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority Officer Was Shot and Killed, 3 Suspects in Custody

A Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority officer was shot and killed on Staten Island.

Shortly before 10:30 pm police responded to a call on Bradley Ave near Harold St in the Manor Heights neighborhood.

When police arrived on the scene they found a 48 year old male who had multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The MTA confirmed that the victim was a Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Officer who had served with them since 2002

“We are saddened to have lost a valued colleague and we offer our deepest condolences to his family,”
– Daniel DeCrescenzo, Acting President of MTA Bridges and Tunnels.

Two vehicles were seen fleeing the scene. A dark colored car was stopped on Harold St and the two individuals in the vehicle were taken into custody. The second vehicle was stopped on the Staten Island Expressway and the driver was taken into custody as well.

The three suspects are being questioned by authorities
