MODESTO, Calif. — (kcra3) A Modesto farm is honoring a fallen officer through its annual corn maze. The face of fallen Newman police Cpl. Ronil Singh is subject of the 10-acre maze at Dutch Hollow Farms. Singh was shot and killed on Dec. 26, 2018, when he pulled over a reported drunken driver. Dutch Hollow Farms called the maze a tribute to Singh. The maze features the officer’s smiling face and his name. BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — A man is dead after he opened fire on cops, sparking a gun battle with police officers in Brooklyn early Monday, according to the NYPD.Chief of Department Terence Monahan said around 2:30 a.m. three uniformed officers were patrolling the area of Howard and Dumont avenues when they saw a suspicious man wearing a mask. DULUTH, Ga. (AP) - A Georgia probation officer has resigned and her friend has been arrested for borrowing that officer’s badge and gun to get free snacks at a QuikTrip. WSB-TV reports 33-year-old Pektra LaQuiche Edgerton was arrested and charged with impersonating an officer. Gwinnett County Police Officer J.T. Smith says he saw Edgerton inside the QuikTrip with a badge and gun requesting free snacks and her actions seemed suspicious.
