POLICE: Deadly Crash In Georgia Kills 6 People, Including 3 Children

A deadly crash in Georgia on Interstate 95 happened early Sunday morning, killing everyone involved, Liberty County sheriff’s officials said.

Around 2 am this morning a lookout advisory was issued by Liberty County 911 for a white Lexus that was traveling southbound in the northbound lane of I-95.

Shortly after the lookout advisory was issued emergency personnel were notified of a crash. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene they could see that the Lexus was involved in the crash.

The driver of the Lexus which had Florida plates was a 77 year old man who had been traveling in the wrong direction. The Lexus struck an SUV head on killing everyone involved. The SUV had two adults and 3 children in the vehicle.

The driver of the Lexus was not intoxicated at the time of the accident.

The Midway Fire Department had to be called in to extract the bodies from the vehicles.
