Deputies responded to a call on Saturday regarding a shooting that apparently happened at an apartment complex in Bakersfield where a party with approximately 400 people in attendance was being held
Witnesses who saw the shooting occur shortly after midnight called 911.
According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, six individuals were shot. one individual was a minor and the other five individuals were adults. They were all transported to a nearby hospital and expected to survive.
Approximately 400 people were at the party when the shots were fired. Investigators discovered 94 spent bullet casings and three live rounds at the scene.
According to police individuals at the part saw four men in a white vehicle driving away.
All of the victims being treated are refusing to cooperate with authorities and at this time no arrest have been made.
