Officers got to the home and when there was no response and they saw two people unresponsive on the kitchen floor they forced their way into the home.

When deputies got into the home they discovered four people and two dogs dead. 48 year old Ryan Brown appears to have killed his wife, kids, and dogs before turning the gun on himself and taking his own life.

“It is heartbreaking that an entire family is wiped out from the actions of one person.”
“Violence is never the answer and there are people you can call to ask for help. We have a terrific Crisis Intervention Team that is ready at all time to help you or a family member in distress.”
– Sheriff Troy Nehls
