Monday night around 11:50 PM, a pizza delivery driver stopped an attempted robbery in east Charlotte. Four would be robbers approached him and one of them pointed a gun at his head.
As it turns out, the robbers picked the wrong target. The delivery driver pulled his own gun and opened fire on the criminals. He hit 3 of them.
According to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department…
“Officers investigating the shooting found a toy assault-style rifle that had been painted black.”
Police apprehended 3 of the suspects within a couple hours and found the fourth at a hospital. None of the injuries were life threatening and all 4 will be facing criminal charges for robbery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon.
