Oregon Man Shoots Himself In Groin While Showing Off Handgun

A man in Oregon was showing off his gun while in the checkout line at a supermarket when he accidentally shot himself in the groin.
Nicholas J. Ellingford, had just finished showing off his Glock 9mm handgun when he he went to put the gun back in his pocket and accidentally fired the weapon.
The bullet hit him in his groin and exited through his thigh. 
Ellingford was taken to a nearby hospital and then had to be flown out to a hospital in Portland to be treated for his injuries. 
According to the Lincoln City police officers who responded to the incident Ellingford did not have a conceal carry license and his recklessness put others in danger.
