New Mexico Gov In Controversy Over Allowing ‘Non-Essential’ Business Open… To Sell Her Jewelry

by AmericasKeepersAdmin on May 27, 2020

As governors and mayors enforce unconstitutional orders amid the coronavirus pandemic a pattern seems to be emerging of them being the exception to their own rule.

Governor Grisham of New Mexico had shutdown all nonessential business last month and had essentially closed the state with her stay at home orders.

However she was in desperate need of some expensive jewelry and had a jeweler open their shop exclusively for her.

According to a report from news anchor Jessica Garate ,Governor Grisham called an employee at Lilly Barrack requesting the individual to open the store.

“The jewelry was bought over the phone, but the employee went to the store, got the jewelry and placed it outside the door of the store where someone who knew the governor picked it up. This is according to the person who runs Lilly Barrack stores. She says she didn’t know about it until after it happened. She also said no one was allowed in the stores at that time due to the public health order.”

Governor Grisham refused to comment about the situation.

So while Governor Grisham continued to enforce unconstitutional orders drastically impacting the economy she refused to follow them herself.
