Maryland Police Department Reminds Residence That Pants Are Required To Check Mail

As many Americans are forced to work from home amid the coronavirus pandemic, some are getting a little too comfortable in their new work attire

The Taneytown Police Department in Maryland has discovered some residence are forgetting to put on their pants when they go to check the mail.

In an effort to remind residence that they need to be properly dressed when checking the mail, Taneytown Police put out a Facebook post with a final warning to residence

“Please remember to put pants on before leaving the house to check your mailbox. You know who you are. This is your final warning,”

It’s uncertain whether the police department put out the statement as topical commentary or if their residence truly needed the reminder. Regardless it’s becoming more apparent that pants are not a necessity these days.
