Mark Cuban Donates $50,000 To Officers Injured in Compton Ambush

by Zach Heilman on October 01, 2020
Mark Cuban has donated $50,000 to each deputy that was injured during the ambush attack in Compton last month.
2 deputies who were sitting in their patrol car in Compton were shot multiple times during an ambush attack. Both were seriously injured and have undergone surgery. Fortunately they are expected to make a full recovery.
Deonte Lee Murray has been arrested for allegedly shooting the two officers and has been charged with attempted murder of two police officers. Murray's bail has been set a $6.15 million.
Cuban has donated the money as part of his efforts with the Fallen Patriot Fund. The Fund was initially created to help families of military members who had either died or been seriously injured during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
