Inciter Of Riot Arrested In N.C. As Authorities Take Down Confederate Monuments

On Sunday night a man in North Carolina was arrested for starting a riot a few days prior which led to the damage of two confederate monuments.

Conrad Paul James was arrested Sunday night after he jumped a fence around the Three Presidents Monument. James allegedly started a riot a few days ago which resulted in damage to two confederate monuments.

James is being charged with inciting a riot, first-degree trespass, resisting an officer and injury to personal property. He is currently being held in Wake County Jail on a $55,000 bond.

In response to protest and the destruction of Federal Statues, Governor Roy Cooper has ordered several statues to be taken down across the state.
