In Coloma, Michigan a homeowner protected himself and his home from an intruder by exercising his second amendment right.
Around 2:30 am on Thursday Coloma Township police responded to a call about a home invasion in progress. When police arrived the homeowner came out of the home with his arms up after he shot the intruder and killed him.
According to the homeowner he was woken up by the sounds of the intruder breaking into his home. He retrieved his gun and ordered the intruder to get on the ground. The intruder refused and the homeowner fired a single shot killing the intruder.
The homeowner did not know the intruder and the shooting is currently under investigation.
