Colorado Man Shoots Waffle House Cook Over Mandatory Mask
In Colorado a man shot the cook at a Waffle House after being told he had to wear a mask while inside the restaurant.
Kelvin Watson went to the Waffle House in Aurora Colorado shortly after midnight on Thursday. Even thought the restaurant is only offering carry out, the waitress informed Watson that he had to wear a mask while inside the restaurant.
Watson left and then returned with a mask in his hands but he refused to wear it on his face. He was again informed that he needed to wear the mask on his face in order to be served.
He then put a gun on the counter and threatened to blow the cooks brains out. He then left the restaurant only to return the next night.
When Watson returned and was informed once again that he would not be served without a mask he slapped the cook. The cook then ran out of the restaurant to get away and Watson shot him. The cook was taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and has been released.
Police arrested Watson for attempted first degree murder.
