CA’s Newsom Opens Churches 25%, But No Singing Allowed

by AmericasKeepersAdmin on May 26, 2020

On Friday after President Trump announced places of worship as essential, Governor Newsom initially refused to reopen Churches but after a tremendous amount of pressure he issued questionable guidelines to allow places of worship to open up.

On Monday Governor Newsom laid out guidelines to allow Churches to reopen. There is a long list that infringes on Constitutional rights including not being able to sing.

Churches can only have 25% occupancy during a service or a max of 100 people, social distancing must be enforced, doors need to be propped open, children’s play areas must be closed, close all common areas, limit the number of people who are allowed to use the restroom at one time, discourage handshakes and hugs, and there are multiple other guidelines in place.

Ironically the guidelines for restaurants are not nearly as strict compared to the Church guidelines.

Despite President Trump’s statement that places of worship are essential many mayors and governors across the country refused to allow places of worship to reopen this past weekend.
