by AmericasKeepersAdmin on May 15, 2020

This week three Sacramento residents were arrested for child endangerment after police discovered five children in a crate attached to a truck.

Police stopped a truck in Needles California in San Bernardino county where they discovered the children after receiving a call reporting children riding in the back of a pickup truck in a small crate.

The children were being transported in the truck with no ventilation or water on a day where temperatures were near 100 degrees. The children ranged in age between one to thirteen.

Police also discovered a shotgun, drug paraphernalia and narcotics inside the truck.

Zona Brasier, Kenneth Standridge, and Aushajuan Hardy were all arrested for child endangerment and they are being held at Colorado River Station Jail. Standridge is also being charged with driving under the influence and for a felon being in possession of a firearm.

Hardy is being held without bail since he was already on Post Release Community Supervision.

The relationship between the adults and children is unclear at this time and the children are with San Bernardino County Children and Family Services.
