BREAKING: Officer Involved Shooting In Kentucky Leaves One Dead

One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting Thursday morning Martin County Kentucky.

The Kentucky State Police Received a call from an Ohio Sheriff’s Office (Richland County) on Wednesday about a suspect for. KSP was informed that the man was driving a white box truck/van.

The Troopers found him in Johnson County around 3 AM and attempted to pull him over at that time. The man refused and led police on a pursuit that ended in Martin County where the suspect barricaded himself inside the vehicle.

The man’s identity has yet to be revealed but it is reported that he made a 911 call where he stated that he had a gun to his head. Shots were fired and the man was killed.
