32 Year Old, Joshua Julius allegedly crashed into a vehicle on purpose and then assaulted the person he crashed into. A good Samaritan witnessed the crash and was able to hold Julius at gunpoint until police were able to get to the scene.
The crash occurred just shortly before 5pm on February 29. Police were called to respond to a crash and fight in progress and were informed there was a man with a gun at the scene.
When Police arrived they arrested Julius and took him to booked. At that point he attacked a police officer. He was then transported to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department where he also assaulted deputies.
Julius is being charged with second and third degree assault and is being held on $500,000 cash only bond.
