Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, friends and colleagues of these two members of our OPSO family. They will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us here at OPSO.”
– OPSO Statement

Lieutenant Duplessis joined the sheriff’s office in 1992. In 2013 he was promoted to sergeant and in 2018 he became a lieutenant. He was currently working at the Orleans Justice Center’s central control center.

In honor of both Lieutenant Duplessis and Deputy Mackey OSPS parked a patrol car outside the Orleans Justice Center and hung black wreaths on the vehicle and the doors of the building.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to both families. We are grateful for their service
