2nd Suspect Charged In Murder Of Retired St. Louis Police Capt. David Dorn

A second man has been charged with the murder of retired St. Louis captain David Dorn who was killed during a break in to a pawn shop.

David Dorn was killed in the beginning of June when he was responding to a break in at Lee’s Pawn and Jewelry. Dorn was friends with the owner and would help out by responding to alarms when they went off.

The killing was captured on video and aired on a Facebook Live.

Mark Jackson is the second person to be charged with his death. Jackson has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery, burglary, stealing and several other charges.

Stephan Cannon was the first person charged with Dorn’s murder and he is believed to have been the shooter.

Two other individuals have been arrested for looting the pawn shop.
